Purpose Statement
The purpose of Jonesboro Road Baptist Church is to fullfill the Great Commission as directed by Jesus. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28: 19-20.
Church Philosophy
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the basis for our beliefs. This church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.
What you can expect as our guest
You will be greeted by warm and loving people, who are truly glad that you have decided to worship with us. Our worship style is a blend of contemporary and traditional music. The sermons are relevant and Biblical. Our Church family dress in different ways, some like to dress up, while others prefer a more casual dress, you come in what you think is appropriate, what's important is that you come. We do understand that for some, coming to a new place of worship is difficult. Not everyone is at ease meeting new people. On the other hand for some it feels perfectly natural to be in a new enviroment. We try very hard to make everyone feel as comforatabel as possible.
